I remember as a child when my father would take pictures with his clunky camera and develop the photos in a dark room. It fascinated me. I wanted to know how it worked and what I could do with it. However, it took nearly two decades for me to explore the world of light on my own. It wasn’t until my early 20s that I began experimenting with basic cameras, lights, setups, and compositions.

Later on, when I became a mom, it rapidly became clear how important it is to not only take many photos with the easy-to-use technology we have but to actually capture unique moments and expressions through an artistic view.

I realized, that most parents take a lot of photos of their children, however, we rarely seize moments where we as parents are within those memories. That is why I love photography and the art that surrounds it because photos are more than just a click, they capture a moment that is gone forever.
